Prerequisites & Course Overview: SE™ Intermediate Level

The Intermediate Level SE Training in Israel is designed for professionals who have successfully completed the Beginning Level SE Course and are ready to deepen their expertise in Somatic Experiencing®. This program builds on foundational knowledge, introducing specialized techniques for working with complex trauma across diverse contexts.

Participants will refine their ability to recognize, regulate, and resolve nervous system dysregulation, working with acute, chronic, and high-intensity trauma activation (GHIA). The training includes crisis interventions, real-world applications, and advanced SE™ methodologies.

This course consists of three 4-day in-person training modules, spaced 2 to 4 months apart, allowing for integration and hands-on practice between sessions. Successful completion of the Beginning Level SE Training and supervised practice hours is required for enrollment.

Throughout the course, participants will engage in:

Case Work Practice – Applying advanced techniques to structured real-world scenarios.

Crisis Intervention Skills – Immediate stabilization methods for high-intensity trauma cases.

Cultural & Contextual Adaptations – Tailoring SE™ approaches for different populations and therapeutic settings.
